The Story of Carolina Gems begins in South Florida in the mid 90’s. Where a young couple began their journey traveling the country selling artisan crafted jewelry on the wholesale market. In the early 2000’s they settled in WNC and opened The Chimney Rock Gemstone Mine. Quickly, the retail shop became known as the source of the best gem mining in the area and housed the largest selection of Sterling Silver Jewelry in Western North Carolina.
